Turn Trash Into Treasure These School Holidays! ♻️
Get ready for a hands-on, eco-powered adventure these school holidays! Plastic Free Noosa is hosting an inspiring, creativity-fuelled workshop where kids can learn how plastic waste is transformed into brand-new products, and make their own to take home!
In this two-hour session, young change makers will explore the world of plastics through a fun and interactive education session. They’ll learn why single-use plastics are such a challenge, how different recycling numbers work, and discover the journey of a bottle cap from “rubbish” to “resource.” Each participant will get to take home their own recycled pen or surf wax comb made at the workshop!
This is a drop & go event. Best suited to kids aged 7-12 years old.

Intuitive Abstract Painting Workshop

When: Wednesdays 6-8pm, 29 April - 24 June
15 years and older, up to 10 participants
Discover the joy of painting intuitively. Explore materials and tools without any pre-conceived ideas or trying to make a particular finished painting ‘happen’.
Get free and loose with your painting and discover your own mark making style. There will plenty of guidance, plenty of space to try things and plenty of mutual support as we encourage each other in our explorations.
Bring your sense of adventure and any level of experience from beginner to advanced. This is not a technique heavy workshop. It is about exploring and playing with different materials, and having the right mindset to help you on the road to discovering your unique style.
