Teacher Bio
Hello, I'm Bianca.
The Director of The Maker House and a creative educator with a Bachelor of Industrial Design and a Master of Teaching (Visual Art major, Design & Technology minor). Before teaching in schools, I freelanced as a designer and ran art classes across event spaces, OSHC centres, schools and mobile classes for kids and adults. I have always loved helping people of all ages discover their creativity.
I’ve taught at Noosa Christian College and Sunshine Coast Grammar School, where I’ve spent the last few years leading the Visual Art Department.
I’m a happy, friendly, and approachable teacher who genuinely loves seeing kids light up when they make something they’re proud of. I believe creative thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving are essential skills for the 21st century, and I weave these into every class I run.
In our classes you can expect music to be playingI - it helps set the mood, encourages flow, and brings everyone together. Over my teaching years I have used this as a strategy to uplift the classroom, deepen engagement and witnessed its magic in productivity.
My goal is always to create a positive, supportive space where kids feel inspired, confident, and celebrated. Every outcome is an achievement, and I’m passionate about sharing my skills to spark creativity in our next generation of dreamers, artists, designers, business owners and thinkers. I look forward to meeting you and learning together.
xx
Miss Bee
