About the event

Make Your Own Junk Journal

About the Activity

This is a unique event created for teens only. We wish to inspire their creativity and provide a safe space to connect with other like minded creative teens on a Friday night. Students will design and create their own handmade junk journal using a mix of recycled and repurposed materials such as book pages, maps, envelopes and packaging. This session is all about creative freedom—each journal becomes a unique space for ideas, memories, art and self-expression.

What is a junk journal you may ask?

A handmade book crafted from recycled, repurposed materials such as book pages, maps, old envelopes, packaging, anything you like really.
